Our society is cooked. This dumb bitch killed 3 of her kids. Researched on the internet how to take their lives. Child by child put them face down used a excercise band and choked the fuck outta them till they died. We lack accountability and integrity in this country. Victim mentality is at an all time high.
Just my opinion, but I’m not sympathetic to this argument at all.
Sometimes you leave a company and your friends that stay behind get better benefits a year later. You don’t get to go back and get an extra 2% tacked onto your 401k.
The players got their chance to play college football and made enough out of it to garner NFL looks. Will those in favor of this move come back in a few years and rally in favor of extra years for the players who these 23 and 24 year old men steal snaps on tape from? Do those guys get a chance later? NONE of these fifth year guys should be playing, whether once on NFL rosters or not.
Rules change. Institutions adjust to the times. Sometimes you get a bad break. The so called advocates for these athletes are only setting them up for failure later.
And just so we’re clear, this same brand of thinking is why we are on the verge of a 24 team playoff that will cause a decrease in interest in the regular season. Nobody wants to say “you should have made more plays.” Or “you shouldn’t have lost that game”
Participation trophy culture has infected CFB from the highest levels down and we have nothing but a complete and total lack of leadership on many levels to blame for it.
Instead of the stupid “End Racism”sign at the back of the end zone, NFL should post “End Domestic Violence” as their advocacy since too many more of their players are involved with slapping women around than committing acts of racism. Let’s get real. And honest. @NFL
"Special editions were $100 back then too!"
Yeah, and they came with limited edition packaging, a fancy case, an art book, a fucking figurine, the soundtrack, a booklet signed by God himself, and a PHYSICAL DISC INSIDE.
After a Monday evening videoconference of the Presidents and Chancellors of the Southeastern Conference, the Conference is issuing the following statement:
I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I think Stetson is a long term NFL starting QB. But it’s just as insincere to pretend he wouldn’t at least be comparable to anyone currently on the roster. And I’m not sure why non-UGA/Falcons fans have such a weird superiority complex over UGA/Falcons fans who want the Falcons to draft or sign former UGA players after seeing so many succeed in Philly, Green Bay, or even Vegas.
"Not an easy problem to fix"
All the NFL has to do is put in a rule that says if you play a single snap of college football after playing in the NFL, you're ineligible to ever play in the NFL ever again
