Brexit Party MEPs have left the European Parliament for the final time - carrying the Union Jack "home" to the UK.
Led by Anne Widdecombe, the collective were played out by a bagpiper and carried a 'Brexodus Express' sign.

The Times have just released a new poll for the Makerfield by-election by Survation.
Robert Kenyon is the only candidate who can stop Andy Burnham.
This is a two horse race - nobody else comes close.
Only Reform can stop Labour’s leftward stampede
"Voters of Makerfield have a choice. Voting Reform because no other party will come close to beating Burnham. Or vote Burnham and give Labour fresh hope it can stay in power for a generation."

In our first Westminster VI after the local elections, Reform’s lead increases to 9pts over Labour

Clear Brexit-linked pattern to Labour's fortunes that many in the party seem determined to ignore (indeed, like Keir Starmer, determined to contradict) - yet is still at the core of the party's current struggles:
➡️ Big Labour Leave vote in 2016;
➡️ Jeremy Corbyn gets more Labour votes in 2017 than in any general election since, pledging to respect the Brexit vote - falling back in 2019, pledging a repeat referendum (under pressure from Starmer);
➡️ Red Wall seats went back to Starmer in 2024, after clear pledge not to rejoin - "There will be no return to the single market, the customs union, or freedom of movement”;
➡️ Enter Keir Starmer's 'EU reset' ploy to rejoin parts of the single market incl "dynamic alignment" & £billions in payments - and heartland Labour voters are now deserting the party again;
➡️ This week: Starmer doubles down on the betrayal of his election promises with a tone-deaf "heart of Europe" speech and now struggles for survival as PM.
Is the next Labour leader watching and learning from any of this?

@rorysutherland Or sell more to create economies of scale and reduce the price but make more profit ….creativity can bring prices down- always remember the consumer !!
