My full-time job at @TweetHunterIO is to discover the best strategies to build profitable Twitter accounts.
I've done all the research and analyzed 5,000+ accounts for you.
Your failproof blueprint to go from 100-10k FANS:
@alematit@The1stReporter That is really interesting. My bookmarks list feels like the ever growing repository of valuable things I don't have the time to go back and review.
Do you have any tips for getting the most out of your bookmarks?
@itzgoldenholden@The1stReporter Agreed going deep is the key to unlocking the true value and learnings in a book or subject.
In the past I've always read books, made highlights and reflected. I'm trying to level up now by reviewing my highlights and condensing into a set of notes.
What is your process?
@The1stReporter Like my old Sales Director always said: Write down your your key takeaways and what you will change within 24 hours otherwise statistically, you won't!
@bryhutch@thejoshuageelen Nice insight Bryan. I'm in the early innings of trying to understand the success formula.
From what I've gleaned so far it includes:
- Consistency: daily tweets / weekly threads
- Interact with others (don't just tweet)
- Find your niche
Anything you would add?
@thejoshuageelen Agreed! Intention and intensity are so important.
10,000 hours won't make you an expert. 10,000 hours of *intentional practice* will.
Watch a pro on the driving range. They will take a long time deliberating & analyzing each shot. Amateurs will speed through without intention.
@pialeichter I'm currently reviewing my notes from Steve Jobs' Biography and this quote stands out.
Many visionaries seem to make bold decisions because of a deep conviction inside them rather than a logical conclusion others can understand.
Finding your voice online boils down to two questions about your past and present:
1. What experience do I have that others would find valuable?
2. What is my #1 learning priority (linked to my #1 long term goal)?
@pialeichter Absolutely!
My distinction mainly relates to B2B - we call this selling above and below the line. Both are important but decision makers matter most.
Most times in B2C your user is your decision-maker!
Today my journey on twitter begins.
I will share knowledge gained over 6 years in enterprise SaaS sales & share my journey to building an audience and launching a startup.
I'm here to learn and help others do the same.
Counterintuitive take: the best salespeople are the best listeners, not the smoothest talkers.
You create value for your customers by asking thoughtful questions, listening to their challenges and working with them to find solutions.
@thealexbanks Great thread - consistency is so important as it is less common in younger people. Can be a real differentiator.
On thing I would add - put yourself way outside your comfort zone. This is the fastest path to learning and development
