@upperguard I disagree, a prime Tyson v prime Holyfield I would back still back him. He had the skills and the chin and wasn’t intimidated by anyone. It would have been a closer fight for sure. What you have to accept is that even before Buster Douglas people were working Tyson out.

@upperguard Because he’s a natural Cruiser Weight and against the super heavy guys like Foreman, Bowe, Lewis etc it was a struggle. Fantastic boxer and tamed some great champions like Iron Mike.

@Annjoy_O Unnecessary but that’s Mercer for you! He hit the guy when he was down just like he did Morrison who was virtually unconscious at the time. Poor referee again causes unnecessary damage to the fighter. So glad Lennox Lewis beat Mercer!

@ChrisReevo We’ve all been subject to bad refereeing decisions over the years. They tend to even themselves out. The goal should have been disallowed the officials made a human error. Does VAR improve the game I think not it causes more harm than good. Let’s just stop morning and get on.

@CJHall83 I think the FA have lost the plot. The refereeing situation is out of control some hate VAR when it suits them others call for it depends on their personal circumstances. The leadership at the top is diabolical and the overall standard of refereeing is at an all time low.

@AliJones9 @FA Yes and even Championship officials are full time and well paid. Having said that they are human beings and we all make errors. Still don’t think it was deliberate but I think these things even themselves out over a season so people moaning about it should get a life it’s boring
