This is hugely concerning. By the very nature of their work, AMHPs often have to go into situations of heightened risk. No AMHP should ever be alone in a community setting. Every local authority has a responsibility to ensure this.

@LewisORoberts Agreed, for both children and adults. Adult sw often worked in the thick of covid, including hospital and care homes with many who sadly passed. I expect executives to put staff wellbeing at the forefront of strategy. I'm vigil as to how our leaders now steer and innovate.

Having known veterans who sadly took their own life, I can't express how crucial this is. It empowers validity, respect, accountability and impact.
This should enable better understanding and target dedicated resources in specific areas. #veteransupport #SuicideAwareness

@socialworktutor We would need to reexamine its industry model. Aside from the obvious lack of work/life balance and high case laods etc, we have an outdated HR operating model. We must recognise and reward good work. We must identify and deal with the lack of communication and poor leadership.

@MarcusRashford This school lunches thing is just fucked. I pay £30 a week for our HelloFresh box and that does 2 adults 5 decent meals a week.
