How can you hear the pain Black people are going through and dismiss it as nothing. How can you hear the pain and respond with anything other than “I stand with you.”
I have no beef or drama in my life. If someone still speaking foul or ill on my name nevermind them or what they’re saying. They’re still healing and need to seek God for a release of hatred or envy. I have such a pure heart that ain’t built to comfort weak shit.
Growing up in Colorado I constantly ran into people who always gasped at the fact that I’d never gone skiing and it always proved to me just how privileged a lot of people out here are and sometimes made me feel less than because I had never been able to do it
1. Sweat stains were hidden and 2. In kindergarten my teacher said I looked sick bc she could see my veins and I was always super self conscious about it up until like sophomore year
