For anyone telling me to take it easy on the Islamists:

I was a lieutenant in the NYPD.

I worked “Free Palestine” rallies.

They *always* devolved into anti-cop, anti-America, pro-Hamas, pro-“Globalize the intifada” melees. I watched them even turn on Muslim cops, who thought they somehow had a pass. They figured out what I knew during the BLM riots in 2020; they see blue and nothing else. Those are not your “people.” They want dominance and control; nothing less.

I got out before Mamdani really got to start working. Friends still on the job know the worst is yet to come once him and his Islamist DSA buddies take over.

You don’t know what you’re electing into office. Wake up now before it’s too late.

Every gun, mine, and guard tower on the Berlin Wall was pointed at East Germans.

In 1957, the communist regime in East Germany made unauthorized emigration treason after an estimated 2.5 million people voted with their feet, fleeing the communist East towards the West.

So in 1961, the authorities closed the border, called the wall “the Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart”, and gave border guards shoot to kill orders.

People only ever risked their lives escaping in one direction.

Most companies in 1914 saw workers as replaceable cogs in a machine. Fire them, hire new ones, repeat. But at Guinness's St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, something remarkable was happening—something that would set a standard for corporate responsibility decades before anyone coined the term. 
When WWI broke out, and over 800 employees answered the call to fight, Guinness made a promise that seemed almost radical for its time: not only would their jobs be waiting when they returned, but their families wouldn't starve while they were gone. The brewery would pay half wages to soldiers' families every single week they were battling. 

During this time, Guinness wasn't just any brewery—it was the largest in the world, producing over 2.6 million barrels annually and employing 5,000 people at St. James's Gate in Dublin. The company actively encouraged its employees to join the British forces, and the response was staggering. More than 800 Guinness employees served in WWI, representing roughly a fifth of the entire workforce. They served on land, at sea, and in the air, scattered across battlefields worldwide.
But what made Guinness's approach revolutionary wasn't just the encouragement to serve. The company established a War Gifts Committee specifically to dispatch care parcels to men in action, sending tangible reminders from home to the trenches. More importantly, they paid half of each soldier's ordinary wages to their families during every week the men were engaged in combat. This wasn't a token gesture. 

They'd say Guinness looked after you "from womb to tomb," and they meant it literally. When the war came, this philosophy didn't waver. Out of the 800-plus employees who served, 103 never came home. That's a 13% fatality rate—103 families who received those half-wage payments until the devastating news arrived. 

Many returned to an Ireland that treated British Army veterans as outcasts; the political scenario had shifted dramatically during their absence. But St. James's Gate remained a safe haven. Guinness kept its promise: their jobs were there, and the brewery became known for its policy of hiring WWI veterans, with positions locally referred to as "Jobs Fit for Heroes."

Wild story nobody is talking about.

Apparently a childless, leftist NYU professor had a $5.2m retirement account when he died, and his will instructed the money to go to the New American Movement 'or it's successor organization'.

The DSA claimed in court that it was the legal successor to the New American Movement, and therefore entitled to the money. A judge agreed and the DSA was awarded a windfall of $5.2 million dollars.

In and of itself that's pretty wild, but it's actually even more interesting.

The New American Movement was a Marxist organization formed in 1971 as the successor to Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) in 1971, as SDS fell into chaos courtesy of their members committing an unprecedented wave of domestic terrorism across the country.

In 1982, after a merger with the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee, the New American Movement became the Democratic Socialists of America.

There is a straight line between today's DSA and SDS, the Weathermen, and the domestic terrorism that wracked the country for years. The bombed the United States Capitol Building, the Pentagon, numerous military facilities, police stations, and targeted cops for murder.

Now they just got a five million dollar cash infusion courtesy of a radical NYU professor.
