@Bitmoji@Marvel I hate my new Bitmoji. Bring back the old style so I can keep sending one to my elderly mother everyday. They used to make her smile — but now it’s ugly and kinda scary?!
I'd like the parents of babies and toddlers, who will be dressing their wee ones in cute pumpkin onesies to know what lies ahead. After initial disinterest, Tom now wants to dress up as "the ghost of a miner who died in a lava accident". And the school party is tomorrow. 😳
Samira Rice (Tamir's mom) to Shaun King:
"along with the United States you robbed me of the death of my son ... you are a selfish and self-centered person and God will deal with you, white man."
You claim to be an ally to Black women? Don't give Shaun King a single cent.
The problem with Instagram stories is I assume everyone whose stories I watch is my friend and that is why I just replied to Sharon Horgan’s story about smear tests with a level of familiarity that should have me blocked
Honestly, I would go to my highest vacation splurge price if I could rent the house in Bethany Beach that my parents used to take us for a week every July, when we were kids. I’d blow my entire travel budget to bring us all back there.
5yo: What’s Romeo and Juliet?
Me: Well, it’s a story about two people who fell in love, and…
[2 parents, both English professors, one a Shakespearean, give a long and age-inappropriate synopsis]
5yo: Wow.
Me: Yeah. It’s sad.
5yo: Yeah. I can’t believe they FELL in LAVA!
Anyone surprised that this would happen hasn’t paid attention to “Debate me, bro!” culture over the last 10 years. Being able to “reach anybody” online has led people to believe this is fair game too. It isn’t. & if your audience thinks this fine then make it clear you don’t.
