It would’ve been worse if we hadn’t.

The flipside to that is that Saskatchewan would keep all of its tax revenue instead of sending it to Ottawa for them to decide how much of it we get back.
Similar to Quebec.

Government spending can certainly be streamlined, there’s no argument there.

I guess by “paying twice” they mean writing 2 checks for smaller amounts to different governments.
At this point it’s all for show anyway. I’m not too concerned.
