I feel like this statement is intended to get us talking about whether specific things like youtube should have some sort of exemption, instead of focusing on the ban being fundamentally bonkers.

it's used so often in schools, why would you ban a Year 10 student from watching videos?? this means no news, no sports highlights, literally nothing - YouTube is so widespread i don’t get why you'd restrict it
@25YearsAgoLive 1. The bigger issue was that the the government felt the need to give the flag a legislative basis. The "change"/standardisation of the design specs was a side effect.
2. The colour was even less of an issue than the shapes. No precise colour was set in 1999.
