Motion graphics producer and prawn cocktail crisp connoisseur. Love cult telly, dogs, AEW and lifting weights. Worked on Doctor Who, fulfilling a fanboy dream.
H Darlings, have watched The BAFTA's on TV & I'm absolutely appalled that the fabulous Bernard Cribbins was not mentioned in stars that we've lost within the last year, they should be disgusted with themselves, words fail me XxXxX
Loving the new episodes from 1979 and in episode 3210, Florence (Jenny Tomasin - Ruby from Upstairs Downstairs) replaces Amy Turtle's shunt of the table (episode 1905) with the wobbliest teapot on the studio floor. She looks out of set and can't believe she just has to carry on!
@shaneoid77 I've been a Doctor Who fan since I was a kid, still think of Peter Davison as 'my' Doctor. I think the new series has had its ups and downs, but then again so did the classic - I still find McCoy's first season a very hard watch!
I recall that this is the exact moment, as the title music sting blasted out for The Unquiet Dead, that I thought to myself 'Yes, this really IS Doctor Who'. It gave me chills.
I've just pre-ordered my #Doctorwho season 9 collection on Amazon, and it says my estimated delivery date is 31st December 2024. Prime really is going downhill!
@roy_gill Agreed. It certainly doesn't plod along like many of the six-parters do. I'm starting to realise there's a lot more love out there for The Time Monster than I thought there was.
@joseph_lidster You were right. The funky drumbeat was enough to convince me that he did indeed get his happy ending. Tomorrow came, and he settled down. I feel so much better.
