@henrywinter This is a rare occasion when I agree with the VAR decision. It was not with excessive force. One of those occasions when stills and slow-mos leads to an over the top reaction by pundits. It’s a close call either way - not one to go to town on with the VAR criticism

@DaleJohnsonBBC It was not correct. Haaland was in an offside position (not sure why it took 5 minutes to ascertain that part), but was not interfering with play. So goal should have stood.

@PizzaExpress Thanks for replying. Uber delivering from your Wallingford store. The main course was just as disappointing - your new Cola-glazed ham hock but it was missing the goats cheese, apricot chutney, pancetta, gran Milano cheese and parsley!! Not the usual quality I expect from PE.
