I'm a Carsonator, Carpenter and Laura Marano fan supporting my amazing idols Sofia, Sabrina and Laura. I love Disney, Marvel, Selena Gomez, and Theme parks.
Toy Story is my all-time favorite Pixar franchise, and Toy Story 5 has made me love these characters SO much more. The first movie I’ve ever watched that made me tear up almost instantly. I adored it.
It’s a beautiful, heartfelt story that is needed, and one I hope has a generational impact. There were many times I thought, “How did they think of writing that?” in the best way possible. So many laughs. So many tears. And one scene that specifically wrecked me emotionally (in a good way).
Jessie and Bullseye are a phenomenal duo. Conan O’Brien’s Smarty Pants performance stands out. Tim Allen delivers in so many ways as Buzz Lightyear and the 50 Hi-Tech Edition Buzz Lightyears. The entire cast is exceptional and did such a fantastic job bringing these beloved characters back to the big screen.
And I couldn’t write a Toy Story 5 review without acknowledging how far Pixar’s animation has come. From Toy Story, the world’s first fully computer-animated feature film, to the STUNNING paint-like animation style and Blaze’s incredibly realistic hair in Toy Story 5, this franchise continues to move the studio forward.
My expectations for this story were so high, I was nervous I would be disappointed walking out of the theater. Thankfully, it was the exact opposite. I walked out of the theater feeling pure peace (after the tears on my face dried), already wanting to see it many more times on the big screen. I’m so happy this film exists.
Taylor Swift to GMA on working with Jack Antonoff on ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’:
“I called Jack Antonoff who is one of my best friends, I know that he is not only as big a Randy Newman fan as I am but also a ‘Toy Story’ kid and we talk about ‘Toy Story’ all the time and how that really shaped our childhood […] I called him up and I just really quickly blurted out like, 'I got to see the new Toy Story, I have to tell you all about the film, but we need to write this song. We need to write this song.”
“It was such a frenetic form of excitement that I just blathered out, like, 'We have to write this song.'”
🚨Toy Story 5 producer Lindsey Collins reveals to Álex Sowick that Taylor Swift was the MASTERMIND behind the Easter eggs ahead of “I Knew It, I Knew You”: She’s like “Trust me, this is gonna work”.
“She is the mastermind behind these things and she has visions that I’m like, ‘Wait, what do you wanna do?’ and she’s like, 'Trust me, this is gonna to work!'”

🚨Taylor watched TOY STORY 5 at 11AM, got inspired, got songwriter zoomies, went home and wrote the #1 hit soundtrack song “I Knew It I Knew You” the same day
Recorded vocals at 6:57PM ONLY 2 hours before Bob Iger and Tom from Pixar were coming to hear it
Look, I don’t know what this is. I’m not mad about it. I’m not even against it. I genuinely just don’t get it. But I’ll admit I’m fascinated to see whether there’s actual demand for it, because maybe I’m losing my fastball. Right now, though? I’m stumped.
