@alexgoingturbo@Tradeify Nice trading! Did you get an email to say you are now in cooldown? I lost my live accounts a few weeks back but see nothing in the dashboard and received no email. Still able to purchase new accounts on the website but hesitant until 4 weeks have passed.
Been working on a FREE PDF for traders that hope will be helpful.
A candlestick patterns book with over 90 patterns in total.
If it sounds useful, make sure to follow and I’ll post the moment it’s out.
Thinking of publishing it as a free Notion template as well.
@aw_trades_ @ChartPoet_ @Tradeify Started using Tradesyncer last week, great tool! It’s dropped connections a few times when logging in, but other than that, can’t fault it and solves a lot of limitations.
@DamnGoodTrading@Khldfx where are you in all this?
Traders (just to remind you… paying customers!!) deserve direct communication and transparency. Stop hiding and hoping the backlash fades.
This is worse than retroactive rule changes.
FundingTicks is deleting profitable days from funded traders and changing core rules on existing accounts.
That is unacceptable. Period.
You do not get to:
• Change profit splits
• Change trade holding times
• Change required profitable days
• And then apply it to accounts that already earned those days
That is not “risk management.”
That is moving the goalposts after the game started.
Let’s talk about this 1-minute scalping rule, because it is detached from reality.
NQ regularly moves 10–12 points in under a minute.
That is $200–$240 on ONE mini.
That is 10% of the drawdown.
WHY would a disciplined trader not book that?
Punishing traders for taking clean, high-quality, fast profits makes zero sense.
You are not filtering gamblers.
You are punishing competence.
If these changes were truly necessary, you should have:
• Run polls
• Asked funded traders
• Collected public feedback
• Not made too good to be true rules in the first place
Instead, rules were dropped and applied retroactively.
That kills trust instantly.
FundingTicks, you had one of the best rule sets in the industry.
Balanced. Fair. Competitive.
Now?
You are actively pushing traders away.
Why would anyone choose a firm that:
• Deletes earned profit days
• Penalizes smart execution
• Changes rules mid-stream
You had the best of everyone.
Right now, you are racing toward the worst.
This can still be fixed.
Reinstate the old rules for existing accounts.
Grandfather funded traders.
Ask your community before making drastic changes.
Trust is the product in this industry.
Once it is gone, so are the traders.
Weeks after luring traders in with 50% off Black Friday sales.. @fundingticks dropping major rule changes.
@fundingticks@Khldfx Understand tweaks for growth, but respect those who’ve already paid.
Lesson learned – sticking with @Tradeify and @MyFundedFutures
Passed Phase 2 today on my 300K evaluation with @fundedengineer Took exactly 4 weeks from purchase.
Feel incredibly blessed. Looking forward to small, consistent payouts with the goal of reaching the scaling plan in a few months.
Decided to go with @fundedengineer 300K Standard for my next challenge. Currently on Phase 1, up 3%.
Chose Funded Engineer as there is minimal negativity surrounding this firm. Few payout denials and loving the loyalty/scaling program.
Look forward to hitting my first payout 🔥
@JamesBruce131 Haha thought you had posted my chart for a moment. Exactly the same here, took it down to -8% with a few reckless days, been grinding back slowly with lower risk after a cool-off period. Currently sat at -5%. No rush. Congrats on the achievement!!
@MeetMattL I’m sure this story resonates with a LOT of traders, myself included. Took forever to become profitable, knew what had to be done, but just couldn’t implement the discipline required. Still room for improvement, but glad to have never given up and to make it to the other side 🔥
