@Hyrekia @Target Target doesn't give a shit if scalpers get their product, or people who genuinely wanted it. The product sold, and that's all that matters to them. The profit.
What the actual fuck @Target .I had them in cart and was checking out at 8am on the dot and have been seeing this message since then even though they showed in stock.
I have 1 Target 60 miles away in a small rural area.
I don’t care what Cruz said at CPAC, but I do care that it appears Texas was just a layover stop for him between Cancun and Orlando to drop a pack of water into someone’s trunk and abandon his constituents again as they get slammed with $16,000 electrical bills.
I don't want to hear that poor people don't know how to manager their money. When you're poor you budget out every last cent because the alternative is losing your home, electricity, groceries.
But with overdraft fees, interest, payday loans, etc, it's very expensive to be poor.
The Texas government's failures in the face of a winter storm have been very hard on Texans, and could do lasting damage to the state's reputation. https://t.co/LaUHLpdPnZ via @rossramsey#txlege
Rich people aren't qualified to hold office.
They just have the money to run a campaign.
Take it from me, a random rich dude: people with money aren't better and smarter. We just had one good idea and then got really lucky over and over again. Or had inheritance.
I'm so proud of AOC and all involved for the time and work out into helping the people of Texas. Nothing else needs to be said but thank you. https://t.co/b6PHGl6NWV
The next time you hear Republicans in Congress accuse AOC of being divisive, please remind them that she used her platform to raise more than $3M for a red state.
Ted Cruz voted against Sandy relief for New York. New York’s congresswoman, @AOC, just raised over $3 million for organizations in Texas.
The two parties are not the same.
“We are resilient people.” We talked with Texans across the state who struggled to survive the subfreezing temperatures of a dangerous winter storm. Listen to their stories 🔊 https://t.co/02aQcwc39S
Even with the good news of (officially!) rejoining the Paris Accord, there’s still much more to be done to combat the threat of climate change. We need massive investment in renewable energy and green jobs.
If Republicans could use reconciliation to try to take health care away from 32 million Americans by repealing the ACA, please don't tell me we can't use the same rules to provide a raise to 32 million workers by increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour. No more excuses.
@nadia_oak @robpennoyer@AOC You know what else brings you attention? Leaving your state and the people you represent in the cold without power to take a vacation in Mexico. Even if she were only looking for attention there's a million worse ways she could do it.
Team AOC is launching relief efforts for Texas starting today.
Our first effort is a partnership w/ 5 Texas orgs getting on-the-ground relief to Texans ASAP.
If you’re able, please donate here - it’ll split your contribution to all 5.
💯% goes to them.
