Abiy Ahmed, the man whose government and allied forces have been accused of some of the gravest atrocities in the #Tigray war; holding our #Eritrea|n Meley flag, and you think this is something to celebrate?
Are you serious, dear brother?
Please think carefully before you post. Don’t let your emotions do your thinking for you. USE YOUR MIND.
Our Meley flag represents the Eritrean people, our struggle, and the sacrifices of generations. It is not a prop for politicians whose governments have been implicated in grave human-rights violations.
Know what you are glorifying before you share it.
Who appointed Beyene Gerezgher to become Eritrea’s “transitional president”?
If this claim is true, which I doubt is true; Eritreans deserve answers. Who gave EBRF the authority to select Eritrea’s future leadership? Where is the mandate from the Eritrean people?
I do not support the actions of Beyene Gerezgher or EBRF when they are undertaken without the consent of Eritrean justice seekers.
No individual or political organization should claim to speak for Eritreans or determine Eritrea’s future without the participation and consent of the people seeking justice and democratic change.
Removing Isaias Afwerki must not become an excuse to install another unelected political structure.
Eritrea’s future must be determined by Eritreans through a legitimate, transparent, and democratic process; not through political deals in Addis Ababa or Washington.
No self-appointed dictator wannabes. No backroom deals. #Eritrea belongs to its people.
First and foremost, my name is NOT Yodit dear brother.
Second, piggybacking on a GENOCIDER to remove Isaias Afwerki is not a guaranteed path to victory or prosperity. Abiy Ahmed has repeatedly made clear his ambitions regarding Eritrea and its ports. You don’t have to be a political genius to understand the danger.
But that’s not even my main point.
You are disrespecting our Eritrean flag, the Meley.💙🌿
That flag represents the sacrifice, blood, and struggle of generations of Eritreans. It is not a prop to be placed in the hands of anyone for political convenience.
Think before you post. Defending #Eritrea and respecting the Meley should never be sacrificed for short-term political agendas.
Condemn violence — but investigate the full picture. Peaceful demonstrations must be protected, while possible counter-protests and organized groups linked to Eritrean authorities must also be investigated.
Justice requires the truth.

The TRUTH
I am quite sure they did not commit a single crime or even the slightest violation of the law (actually, there are no laws in Eritrea), but this is for those brutal regime supporters and those who keep repeating the mad dog's lies and propaganda.
Forget your lies and stop repeating the mad dog's propaganda. Did they commit crimes? Did they stand trial in court or even get a chance to defend themselves?
Not at all, right?
A free press has never been a crime, and they were writing in clear language.
In fact, public awareness and social, cultural, economic, and political ideas, debates, and overall "TRUTH" are considered crimes that lead to disappearances, kidnappings, and even shooting and killing innocent people in front of the public.
Under the PFDJ, nothing is not a crime, unless you are part of the criminal group. Even then, the members of the criminal group disappear one after another.

@BILD@welt@BMI_Bund@GBA_b_BGH@hessencam@PatrickHeinisc1
Wake up and think about what you are actually supporting. The very dictator you are so willing to financially support and defend is the same regime that can take your passport the moment you arrive in #Eritrea. And if you falsely claimed asylum, your immigration status could be put at serious risk.
Before you stand with the regime, think about the consequences, and who will be there to protect you when things go wrong.
Die UN verurteilt jede Form von Gewalt. Punkt.
#BlaueRevolution #Eritrea #TransnationalRepression #NoMorePFDJTerror @AwetTesfaiesus@PatrickHeinisc1@Bundeskanzler@BMG_Bund@baerbockpress@ZDF
This is exactly what is happening in Eritrea.
The brutal regime's supporters pretend the regime is peaceful and amazing and that Eritrea is heaven on earth.
To be sure, most of them do not believe their own speeches or what they say in public. Some of them speak from the heart — what they really believe — but certainly, they do not know and cannot see what is on the ground. They are living peacefully, and the Angel of Death does not flow through their house.
They do not express the terrible life of Eritreans and do not feel their pain.

Germany says transnational repression is a real and growing threat.
The German Bundestag has discussed people in Germany being monitored, threatened and intimidated by authoritarian states — and Eritrea is specifically included among the countries identified in Bundestag material on transnational repression.
Human Rights Watch, citing the UN Special Rapporteur, has also reported ongoing Eritrean transnational repression against dissent in the diaspora, including intimidation.
So why is the Eritrean conflict in Germany being told mainly through the word “terrorist”?
What about the Eritreans who fled repression and then faced pressure, intimidation or fear in exile?
What about the young Eritreans whose anger comes from the system they escaped?
None of this makes violence acceptable. Criminal allegations must be investigated and individual responsibility established.
But Germany cannot understand the conflict by looking at only one side.
If Germany wants the whole truth, it must investigate both the violence and the repression that exists around it.
