1. - In Chapter 6 of Bullard they brought up fighting against men/women who put their health on the line for jobs that pay very little. Why does society make a big deal about the labour conditions of other countries but ignore the ones at home?

2. when speaking of mount dioxin and other soil contamination clean ups, does digging up the ground but leaving it in the community actually do anything?

Why is there such underrepresentation by the black communities in environmental groups? Is it residual segregation or do they feel that they will not make a difference/not be heard?

Three Questions:
Did the municipal governments or industries ever try to conduct a similar study on the residents feelings? Did they just not care/want to know? Would the people have been as responsive to those responsible for their environmental degradation? #geog420

Does the differing levels of anger reflect differing treatment by the industrial site ownership? Do those resident feel that receiving some sort of compensation means they cannot be as angry?

If Warren County was not the most scientifically suitable sight, what/where was? Was it a white neighbourhood? Or was this place already a sacrifice zone and therefore it was easy?

also, if it was scientifically proven that the dumping from this proposed site would lead into the communities water source, why was it still allowed? Did the politicians that should have been concerned for these people just not care? or was financial gain more important?

@zedtweetz I think that our current education system teaches the status quo about certain aspects of sustainability. I think that students should be taught more to think about and voice their EJ concerns.
