Donovan Johnson was bright light in this world. As soon as he flashed his trademark smile, he left you no choice but to do the same. He was full of joy, jokes, love and loyalty. He was grateful for the opportunities in his life and proud when he made the most of them. He was a role model to my boys and he loved them whole heartedly. He was part of our family. He battled Leukemia with a brave and gracious heart and fought so hard to be here for his family, especially his son. I loved Donovan and I have peace knowing he knew that. Iโm grateful for my purpose in this profession, to impact young people and make sure they know how deeply they are loved and believed in. Rest in peace, DonJohn. I will love you forever.
NEW: LSU fired Tommy Moffitt โ now he's at Texas A&M chasing a National Championship:
"Others might have doubted me, but I knew I had a lot left to give."

Some schools are withholding final #NIL payments by invoking transfer portal clauses even after the athlete has fulfilled every obligation in the contract. That's a problem. Perhaps the deeper problem is that these contracts are not really NIL agreements.
