@hansenjames It’s been very understated the level of competitiveness he shows when playing against Dybantsa of Brown, or other guys like that. Peterson is a DAWG
@McCadeP8 Peterson is the guy. I recommend looking into his history with AJ. They don’t like each other and Peterson gets the best of him every time. Need a guy with a killer instinct like that
So in on Darryn Peterson. Shades of Dame, SGA, Kobe. He’s going to be an All Defensive team guy at least a few times in his career.
The two things that stand out is shot making and IQ. I think both are elite from day 1.

@mcsuggafree I’m with you on that. Not a Christlike behavior. I do think it’s different than making an effort to live amongst other members though. The point is to give your kids a plethora of options for friends that share their same values.
@Manhattva@StStymie@tgiovanetti Honestly, you should put your platform to use to oust all of the establishment republicans in the state that welcome the influx of outsiders that make our state non-LDS and blue. Our politicians should be trying to make the state more entrenched in our pioneer heritage
@rednecknerd123@cooliniscool@FiredUpCoug@grok Interesting. Thankfully I am comfortable in my faith system to allow the OT to be both mythological at times but also the Word of God in a general sense.
@Manhattva@Samuelmack98 Unfortunately, everybody (generalized) hates us. The Michigan stuff was the ultimate black pill for me. Never moving out of Utah, and getting out of Salt lake county as soon as possible
@MiddleearthMixr The feeling is that they broke from Apostolic authority and ended up becoming conformists to Protestantism. Probably needed to do that to survive in the Midwest. Wasn’t a kind place to our ancestors.
@rednecknerd123@cooliniscool@FiredUpCoug@grok Wild belief. I understand the spirit of it, because I can get almost there. But taking it to the extent of using Paul to counter a statement by Jesus feels very extreme lol
@cooliniscool@FiredUpCoug@grok I mean, he told the story incorrectly. It’s not a big deal really, but it does make it hard to call the Bible inerrant and infallible when Matthew clearly made an error in his recollection of the events
@cooliniscool@FiredUpCoug@grok So how do you guys treat the story of Jairus’ daughter? In Matthew, Jairus reports her as already dead when he appeals to Jesus. In Mark and Luke, Jairus says she is dying, and then is pronounced dead before they arrive.
How can it be completely inerrant and infallible?
@cooliniscool@FiredUpCoug@grok Do Protestants actually believe this? Wild if true
I’d assume that everybody would value the words of Jesus over any other scriptural figure, and defer to his teachings when any theological tension arises.
