I wouldn't be surprised if the Houthis later try to close the Bab El Mandab or begin attacking ships to humiliate any US attempt to declare victory. Also, if they attack now, it only justifies prolonged US intervention, which Iran hopes to avoid.

Unfortunately, the threat facing the Druze and other minority communities (Kurds, Alawites, etc) in Syria continues to loom. The West should beware as it continues to cozy up to the new regime.

Today - a victory for humanity. The #Druze spared from Sunni Islamist militants (including forces of Syria's new regime) thanks to #Israel's airstrikes which repelled the militants out of Suwayda. But for Israel, the world would have continued watching war crimes unfold.

The UN still:
-Refuses to blacklist Hamas
-Adopt the IHRA antisemitism definition

@EYakoby Doesn't he know he has to take an oath to uphold the laws of the US if elected? Because US law outlines that mayors do not have the power to dictate US foreign policy, let alone laws which contradict the foreign policy of the federal government.
