@Ben_White86 Spot on. Think he needs a little reminder that we're in charge here. As others have said it's probably his agent, but when I've read his past quotes I have laughed a little and thought "Ultimately we'll decide what's next for you, not you, you're only 19". A loan would be good.
One of the issues for Daniel Levy was that the business merits of a transfer deal always seemed to come first.
But football doesn’t really respect that - sometimes, if a player is good and a selling club is secure and well-run, you either pay-up or settle for someone inferior.
@HLTCO Just a quick note mate to say I'm really enjoying your World Cup coverage and commentary, (all of your sports commentary tbf - the Nicks!) I haven't been able to watch much of it this year due to the KO times etc so please keep it up! 😁 One of the best accounts on here 🔥
Porro signing a new deal despite interest from City and Madrid is a level of loyalty that won’t go unnoticed. Don’t forget how gutted he was when it looked like Sporting wouldn’t sell him to us. These are the guys you build around
Brazils best striker is currently teaching gays how to play football while this dosser stinks up the pitch, what happened to a once beautiful football nation
@tehTrunk@pokeefe1 Cheers for asking my question Jack! I loled when you read my username out, completely forgot it was such a mess, I think Twitter auto created that for me so we'll blame them! 😂
Taking a break from Spurs podcasts but always have to listen when you have Paul on, great show lads!
@tehTrunk 100% mate, you've said a few times on your pods lately and I've strongly resonated with it - this season has really driven home for me that you should look after and worry about your own house. I honestly couldn't care less about Arsenal anymore.
After this season I feel even more defiantly Spurs if anything, in the face of Arsenal’s success and the general clamouring from most quarters to see us relegated. Bollocks to each and every one of them. Anything is possible here.
Vinai ofc assumes a lot of blame for the 25/26 nightmare, but I wouldn't sack him. Spurs can't imo be rudderless this summer when there's so much more to untangle, & a squad to build for RDZ. Let him show he's learned lessons, & if he's not doing so: start recruiting a successor.
Yes the board have been atrocious & we should stay mad, but we can feel excited about having the right coach. RDZ has been able to stress-test the players, and earn huge credit with group and fans. You could see him at the end gazing at the south stand appreciating the potential.
