Notice how these two verses perfectly complement each other:
Hide your face from my sins (Ps 51:9).
Do not hide your face from me (Ps 27:9).
In both verses, the Hebrew verb for hide [סָתַר] and face [פָּנִים] are the same.
Heavenly Father:
Cast my sins behind you. See them no more. Hide your face from my every wrongdoing, even from my inward sinful nature. And face me. See me. See me as your beloved, your child, because you see me hidden with Christ in you.
