Senator Lee, you and I share the same faith. This is the opposite of mourning with those who mourn and comforting those who stand in need of comfort. Please do better.

As fellow children of our Heavenly Father, it would do us well to talk with and listen to the thoughts and ideas of those who don’t agree with us. If we do this with an open heart, we’ll be blessed to understand one another and become a force for peace.
Our loving Father oversaw the creation of this very earth for the express purpose of providing an opportunity for you and for me to have the stretching and refining experiences of mortality, the chance to use our God-given moral agency to choose Him, to learn, to grow, to make mistakes, to repent, to love God and our neighbor, and to one day return home to Him.
The intent of the Father’s great plan of happiness is your happiness, right here, right now and in the eternities. #GeneralConference
The Savior’s job is to heal. Our job is to love—to love and minister in such a way that others are drawn to Jesus Christ.
Let us bring all our compassion, empathy, and love as we interact with those around us. President Russell M. Nelson has taught that those who are struggling “need to experience the pure love of Jesus Christ reflected in [our] words and actions.” As we minister, we encourage others frequently and offer help. Even if someone is not receptive, we continue to minister as they allow.
The Savior taught that “unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them” (3 Nephi 18:32). #GeneralConference
Take it from someone who was anti-Trump early on and then saw the belly of the beast: the Republican Party without Donald Trump is a disaster, morally and politically.
It's endless wars, open borders, and tax cuts for the people who benefit from endless wars and open borders.
Basically, it's Nikki Haley's platform, which is why we so desperately need to beat her.
In 2016—at a moment of fierce debate over refugees—Elder Kearon gave a talk urging Latter-day Saints to remember our history, care for the displaced, and see them as God's children: "This moment does not define them, but our response will help define us."

Visitors to Times Square were in for a surprise on Nov. 27 as its famous billboards became a larger-than-life tribute to the true reason for Christmas: Jesus Christ.
The billboard takeover at Times Square in New York City was part of Light the World, an annual movement to bring people from all over the world together to share the light of Jesus Christ during the Christmas season. The beautiful nativity scene that emerged from the blackout was a tender reminder of the Savior’s birth and why we need His light and love in our lives.

An incredibly powerful and incredibly important message.
For two years, I met with Mitt Romney in his DC townhome as he grappled with what his party—and his country—were becoming. The stories he told me from inside the Senate were extraordinary and damning.

The single most important thing we can do to strengthen America relative to China is to see Russia defeated in Ukraine. A weakened Russia deters the CCP's territorial ambition, and halts Putin's vision of reestablishing the old Soviet Union. Supporting Ukraine is in our interest.
Homelessness is on the rise in many major U.S. cities, and although it is a complex issue, housing affordability is part of the problem.
There are many ways to improve housing affordability such as reducing regulatory barriers like zoning and land‐use regulations to allow housing development and increase housing supply.

With the recent Supreme Court decision regarding affirmative action, it's worth looking at how Americans feel about the practice. Turns out, it's complicated. New blog with @emilyekins https://t.co/hvQFiGognJ
