When these situations come up, I have had success taking a step back and talking with the client about our workflow. More often than not, a lightbulb goes off; they had no idea. Recognizing this potential disconnect and being transparent is critical.
This can lead to friction with clients (who often run businesses that do not operate this way). For example, a client might not understand why I brought in a particular specialist or why we can do one project by tomorrow but need until a week from tomorrow to finish another.
18. Because of all the problems above

- estimating dates
- planning work
become an enormously complex problem (literally not calculable by computers. Known as an NP Hard problem).
With few exceptions:
It doesn't get easier. You won't have more time. Things won't slow down. This isn't just a season. Either you take joy where you are, or you won't.
