Having lived through communism, I know that's destroying people, not helping them. Ayni, or right relationship. Gardening and permaculture.

Business models that work already exist, just not for public goods. Donations and volunteering without a sustainable model burn people out. Entitlement creeps in.

@SterlinLujan One of the best parts of DAOs and Network States as well I believe is that it let people directly experiment how hard is to do good governance. So, yes, 100% recommend creating new structures before tearing down the old ones.

@syntonikka Perhaps it's time to push new models, Solarpunk-inspired collectives. My own model, that I had to pull off Artizen because I was getting overwhelmed, it's the Solarpunk Pirates. That's a whole crew.

@syntonikka I am thinking the lesson here is detrimental reliance on solo founders. Silicon Valley culture has brought us this founder hero-martyr archetype and now actively pumping AI solo unicorns. At what cost for the individual?
