I’m fortunate. I’ve been successful in business, I have money, I don’t have to worry about our financial future. I donate my entire MP salary to local charities, to show that I’m in politics for the right reasons.
I’ll be honest. I don’t have to worry about paying the mortgage each month, or having enough money to buy the children what they want for their birthday, or even being able to put food on the table.
I don’t, but I know millions of Brits do. That’s the brutal reality.
Hardworking British men and women should not have to live like that. If you work hard, put the hours in and live honestly?
You should be rewarded for it, properly.
That means lower tax, MUCH lower tax and higher thresholds, but it also means a state that can keep inflation under control so that the cost of living does not outstrip your wage.
Fuel, food shop, clothes, electricity. Everything. It all gets more expensive whilst so many earn the same.
Inflation. All driven up by the decisions of politicians who will never have to live with the consequences of their actions.
Our economy is completely broken. It works for the international corporates, the bureaucrats, the London managers.
It does NOT work for the plumber, the entrepreneur, the farmer, the construction worker, the hairdresser, the nurse, the sole trader, the HGV driver, the police officer.
We must aim to entirely reshape how the economy works so that vast profits made from British workers are not shifted offshore through complex corporate structures whilst working families are bled dry by our corrupt state.
I want family businesses to thrive, entrepreneurs to succeed, risk-takers to flourish. Those who contribute, protect and enhance our society rewarded. I want the shirkers and piss-takers crushed.
That’s what I want. That’s what Restore Britain wants.
I don’t want the parasitic global corporations or our rotten state profiting off the ingenuity and sweat of the British risk-taker. Rotten monopolies that have no respect for the individual will end.
In short - an economy that provides for our people.
There is ONE way out. A Britain that lives within it means. Just as we all have to, our state must do the same. Spend less than it earns. It’s that simple.
That is how we make Britain affordable again, make Britain ambitious again and make Britain work again.
That’s what a Restore Britain Government will deliver.
Release the innate brilliance and tenacity of the British people.
Our entrepreneurial spirit conquered the world before and we can do it again.
Remember, Harry Maguire only got hated because of his price tag. He’s not worth £80m and all that. We were in a bidding war with City and their falsified accounts. We paid an extra £30-£40m for Maguire because City had illegal money all over the place. And Harry got abused for it
Across the nine seasons they were accused of not providing accurate information, Manchester City spent £1.943billion on wages, over £100m more than any other English club. In 17 Abu Dhabi-controlled years to the end of 2024-25, their combined wage bill was £4.963bn.
At Manchester United and Chelsea, the next-highest combined bills in England, the figure is around £600m lower. It is a staggering difference.
Since 2009-10 (the first season the charges relate to), the Premier League has dished out more than £6bn in merit payments to 42 different clubs. City received £559.6m (9%).
They have played in the Champions League every year from 2011-12 onwards, achieving qualification in eight of the nine years the charges spanned.
Such qualification naturally means others missed out. On that particular measure, Tottenham Hotspur were worst hit, landing one spot outside of the Champions League on four occasions during that spell. Their Europa League earnings from those occasions totalled a combined £28.8million; City made £141m from the Champions League in the same seasons.
It is not just those fighting for titles or European spots who may feel they’ve missed out. What of the beaten cup finalists? What of the clubs who might have avoided relegation if City’s results were scrubbed out?

🚨🇫🇷💣 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍: Thierry Henry on Manchester City being found guilty of 114 charges:
“I have to be honest. If Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 charges, I don’t understand how a points deduction can be enough.
If those breaches gave them an advantage, the titles won in that period have to be questioned.
For me, the Premier League titles should be stripped. The trophies should be taken away, the records corrected, and the punishment should go beyond points.
Relegation should also be considered.
This is not just about Manchester City. It is about the integrity of the competition.
If you break the rules on that scale and are found guilty, you cannot keep everything you achieved and move on after a points deduction.
Take the titles. Take the trophies. Let the records reflect what happened.
Otherwise, what message are we sending to every other club?”
🚨💣 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐃: In 2022 Manchester City signed Erling Haaland for £51m. 🚫😳
Borussia Dortmund had already turned down offers of more than £75m from Chelsea and Manchester United.
Chelsea later came back with a second bid of £130m plus Tammy Abraham, but Dortmund still said no.
City triggered his release clause and got him for £51m.
i’d also be incredibly suspicion of City post-2018. there’s no way that £50m Haaland deal is completely legit and some dodgy stuff with the Savinho transfer and other recent transfers also
Your club robbed those memories from thousands upon thousands of fans of clubs that didn’t cheat
Those players wouldn’t be anywhere near your club if your club weren’t cheating bastards
The payments for Aguero and every major signing since then can be tied directly or indirectly to the illicit funds.
Every. Single. One.
(I know because I mapped it out)
An appeal isnt a re-hearing of evidence. City would have to show some serious impropriety by the independent panel or that they wrongly applied elements of PL regs. They refused to co-operate with the PL at every stage. You can’t suddenly start to comply now.
Of the charges, 14 were for 'Failure to fully disclose manager and player pay in contracts' - Ergo the manager and players would surely have been aware not all their money was coming from City?
A historic decision for English football, and one that comes to crown the work I carried out through Football Leaks. Today, we all know that, through structural manipulation and financial manoeuvring, Manchester City did not merely circumvent the rules, they turned them into a mere formality, challenging any attempt to preserve the integrity of the competition. That meticulously orchestrated fraud will finally be subject to punishment, and the impact will not merely be turbulent, but truly devastating for the Cityzens.
Ironically, I cannot help but remember Pep Guardiola's words at his first press conference as City manager: "Fasten your seat belts".
