Conversation!) My recommendation would be then to get a headstart on that course, prove that when given a setback, you make use of it in practical, useful ways. Apply for summer internships for example!

Get experience, whether that's in an apprenticeship or work experience situation, or at home as it was in my case, building and learning, exploring in your own time! That's what unis love!

And, don't ever neglect the maths 😉
