@spotifycreator back at it again with another round of automatic takedowns!
This time it's not for music, but for anything they think should be through their audiobook distribution.
As a storytelling podcast, this is my nightmare yet again. Thanks @Spotify
Thank you, @JordanPods (and @buzzsprout), for mentioning PodMatch in this write-up about getting booked as a podcast guest. It's a really great post... Super helpful. Thank you!! :)
On today's episode of Podcasting Momentum, I talk about podcast marketing mistakes, tips for independent podcasters, and how to stay laser-focused on your podcast's "why". It's a very fun conversation!

@alexsanfilippo8 Iโm frustrated for youโฆ but also a little jealous of your mandatory Meta sabbatical.
I hope this gets ironed out soon. What a headache!
At Buzzsprout, we produce 4 podcasts. All with female hosts & 2 men co-host only 1 with me. In our massive community and at conferences, I see women everywhere.
Just makes me wonder if this is actually an industry-wide gap or a gap perceived by where and how we measure creators?
This data surprised me.
According to The Creators 2025, nearly twice as many men as women create podcasts
As a woman in podcasting, this hasnโt felt like my experience. Which feels weird to say...but it feels like a good thing!

Taking time to brag about how spectacular my listeners are!
They support the show every single day with engagement. In fact, they are in the top 1% of all Spotifyโs listeners for sharing, and commenting, and marathoning my podcast.
THIS feels like a successful podcast to me.
My biggest takeaway as a content creator from @taylorswift13's appearance on @newheightshow is focus your energy on creative output and fan engagement, anything outside of that is irrelevant to you. ๐ฅ
It's been less than 24 hours since @taylorswift13's podcasting debut.
Around the 1:20 mark, she talks about how people can drain your energy and drive if you let them.
This advice is gold for podcasters like me that give strangers on the internet far too much attention. (๐งต)
4. Let your work speak for you.
"My business is is making music and taking care of my fans...And everything else I'm just sort of like, it's not my business."
You don't need to justify your content to those who aren't fans.
