We've signed top-100 prospect Luis Lara to a seven-year deal through 2032 with Club options for 2033, 2034 and 2035
Source confirms Brewers are in agreement with outfield prospect Luis Lara (Brewers No. 5 per @MLBPipeline, No. 91 overall) on a long-term contract. It's for 7 years starting this year (2026-'32) + 3 club options ('33-35) and guarantees about $31 million. Club has not confirmed.
Outfield prospect Luis Lara and the Milwaukee Brewers are in agreement on a seven-year, $31 million contract extension that includes three club options, sources tell ESPN. Lara, 21, has dominated Triple-A this season. Deal maxes out at $79 million.
Sources are telling me that the Brewers have, as speculated, agreed to terms on an extension with Top 100 prospect Luis Lara.
The deal is expected to be for 8 years, and roughly $30 million, with two team options and incentives/escalators included.
@NoTechBen It won't be as bad. Yes, high elevation, but there will be no wind in a dome, bigger dimensions, climate control and im sure they will use a humidor
