When your #businessmodel extracts profits from customer pain points that is bad news. When the customer can't understand the pricing model, that is bad news. When your model hasn't evolved in decades, despite a flurry of changes to the external environment, that's bad news. 2/6
Joined my friend @KidRock — and some of our great @USArmy Apache pilots — for a ride this morning. (More to come on that!)
Kid Rock is a patriot and huge supporter of our troops. The War Department is wasting no time celebrating America’s 250th — home of the free because of the brave.
@EricLDaugh Can we agree attacking ICE and attacking police at the capitol, are equally problematic and as a society we want both to face consequences?
@profthomlambert We’ve become a government of sound bites, not facts nor progress. This may end up being a wasted generation if we don’t get our act together quickly.
@AnswersAsking@LevyAntoine@grok If no one takes anything else from this thread, an important note on the limits of #AI and its disposition to repeat popular fallacies if it can find a source that seems credible.
Important chart. S&P 490 has had basically no earnings growth since 2022, despite rampant inflation. It’s just 10 companies doing really well, while the broader economy is in contraction in real terms.
The @GOP and @TheDemocrats are playing a dangerous game here. History is riddled with lessons about county's downfalls after citizens feel their voices are deliberately being squashed.

@TomiLahren@GavinNewsom There is a difference between “advocating for victims” and empty “finger pointing blame games.” POTUS is doing the latter, whereas citizens would be better served by the former by BOTH political parties.
@RepTimmons@elonmusk These same growth promises were made with the initial tax cut and never came to fruition. We need politicians to have hard discussions about raising taxes and cutting spending, not continually kicking the can down the road with unsustainable deficit spending and growth illusions
@HawleyMO Slight tweak: how about corporations that choose to “re-assign” their IP rights to a foreign subsidiary for tax sheltering ploys lose access to the American IP rights they apparently don’t feel they should have to pay for via taxes.
@ProfPaulNary I also wonder how much of it is impression management, don’t want to look like an “insecure” local bank being bought up by someone else because of mismanagement or risky exposure.
