@nationalgridus has already mobilized extra crews for this severe Nor’Easter. If you experience an outage, please call 1-800-465-1212. And, please remember to never touch any downed power lines - always treat them like live power lines.
Please use extra caution if you’re out and about tonight! This storm is turning out to be stronger than initial forecasts expected. We’re hearing reports of dangerous conditions in some areas, particularly near the coast. Please be careful.

There has been a water main break on Randall Ave. Crews are hard at work to repair it, but there may be some interruption to water service for a few hours; however, we’re working as quickly as possibly to fix it. Thank you to our team at the Water Division for being on this!
⚠️Plan to give yourself some extra time and be careful driving on your commute tomorrow morning. The rain may turn to snow in your area tonight. In any case, the drop in temperature may cause some wet roads to freeze. ⚠️
It’s not safe to throw unused prescription medications in the trash or to flush them down the toilet, where they could potentially get into the water stream. The prescription take-back program is free, anonymous, and safe. Thank you to @warwickripd for hosting this event!
Today is #PrescriptionDrugTakebackDay and Kent County Prevention Coalition is partnering with @warwickripd to collect unwanted and unused prescription medications today. They’re here until 1:30 pm and Warwick Police also has a drop box that’s here all the time.
It’s a great day for our Outside Marketplace! The Marketplace is happening until 2:00pm at #Pawtuxet Park in #Warwick, so come check out some of the great vendors.
I am proud to carry the support of Carpenters Local 330. Our trade workers are critical members of our economy and I will continue to support them as we work together through the current challenges of the pandemic and beyond.

Arthur was a #Navy best in class tinsmith; after the war he started a sheet metal business. He was married to his wife, Della, for 60 yrs & still lives at home with one of his 4 children. Arthur Prisco is truly one of the “Greatest Generation,” and I am proud to know him.
Please join me in wishing a very happy 105th birthday to Retired Petty Officer, 1st Class Arthur C. Prisco, and thanking him for his service. I am very proud to declare today “Arthur C. Prisco Day” in the City of #Warwick.
Ret. Petty Officer, 1st Class Prisco is a WWII Navy veteran who served in the Pacific on the USS Hamlin, where he was witness to historic events, including narrowly evading a kamikaze pilot, then later, the signing of the armistice.
On the ballot in this election, I am supporting the much needed $56 million bond to greatly improve our schools. Warwick is finally in the financial position to make progress with modernizing our schools. #TheTimeIsNow#WarwickStrong#MayorSolomon
ICYMI: lots of #Warwick folks have been voting in person at City Hall. Kudos to our Board of Canvassers for going the extra mile to make it as safe as possible. Your voice matters, so please make it heard: vote.

We’ve let down our guard and our COVID case numbers have gone up. Remember to wear your masks – indoors and outdoors – even in causal settings with people we know and love. The only time you don’t need to wear your mask is when you’re with the people you live with. #CrushCOVIDRI.
