Welp, I think the time has come for me to leave #Twitter. Musk has decided to host Tucker Carlson on this platform, not only host but promote, and I think that's where I've got to draw the line, I'd never belong to a Fox News forum, and I think this has become something worse
@waitwaitcoykoi@NBCNews from the outside, knowing nothing about what actually happened, i'd guess they didn't have a disaster recovery plan in place and active, and then decided they'd refuse to pay the ransom, and try to simply rebuild their entire network without their data
@waitwaitcoykoi@NBCNews everyone always thinks they can put off their disaster recovery plan because there's no immediate cost benefit to the underlying business, leaving them completely vulnerable to severe impact and outtage, this is much much more common than you think it is
@NBCNews Step 1. If you don't have a backup/disaster recovery plan in place and you get hit with a ransomware attack, you must pay the ransom
Step 2. After the ransom is paid, and the locks on your files are released, develop a backup/disaster recovery plan so this never can happen again
@ABC 150 years past time, but the confederate traitors are being relegated to the dustbin of history. Congratulations to the descendants of Sgt Johnson, an honor well deserved.
@mg100055 @CentristMadness and Russia has been known, historically, to take empathy with their fallen enemies, and not, you know, completely wipe them out, no, wait a second ...
