Rwanda’s government claim that Aimable Karasira died of an overdose on the day he was set to be released from prison is not credible. Today it is Karasira. Many others have also died in suspicious circumstances. Who is next? This madness must stop! May Karasira rest in peace!
When your neighbor’s house is on fire, your own may be next. The war in eastern DRC is a growing fire that could ultimately consume the entire region, including Rwanda and Kagame himself. Diplomacy, not drones, is the wise and lasting solution.
My condolences to family & friends of former Rwandan PM Faustin Twagiramungu on his passing. Sad that he has died in exile, in Belgium, where he had been for over 27 years. May his soul rest in peace.
Tensions between DRC and Rwanda are similar to the pecking of a sick lion by a bird. Kagame’s Rwanda should know that the pecking may soon or later lead to troubles when the lion recovers. Wisdom dictates that the bird (more than the lion) prioritizes cooperation and empathy.
They killed Kizito Mihigo's body but cannot kill his spirit and his songs. "All through history there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seem invincible. But in the end, they all fall, they always do. Always!" Gandhi
James Kabarebe's speech at an AERG meeting in January 2020 was divisive, misleading, and contrary to reconciliation. He should cease to pull Rwandans back to the darkness of the past. He should apologize and resign.
