We've always been a project focused on showcasing PFP art and making NFTs fun to collect again, without promising unrealistic passive gains or returns. With that said, I can't begin to express how excited we are for the future of Black Flag and to share what's happening behind the scenes. While we wish we could reveal more, it's simply not our style. The attention to detail was essential in the development of the @BlackFlag_NFT collection. The ink was made with a custom modified brush in Procreate. Once the sketch for the traits was done, I worked on the the ink using precise movements and then refining details afterwards.

The final base version for the @BlackFlag_NFT project was made after several iterations. I was looking for a specific pose that could showcase the weapons without loosing too much of the clothing and leaving room for the face and headgear

I can't even describe how excited I am! Even more excited for the things yet to come for this amazing project!

We are pirates

That's a wrap on our mint! After 3 months and 3 weeks of minting, we can finally say that we have successfully minted out our pirate collection of 2,000. I want to thank everyone who supported us in this. As we conclude the mint, we move forward, jobs never finished. Now, we pivot to community participation, sharing our pirates and brand with the rest of Cardano to steadily grow into an even larger community. If you own a pirate, display it, share it, and let everyone know!

We are currently in early testing for "sailing," and gamification will be a fun feature. While not everyone may be up for it, holders can opt for a sort of autopilot mode with passive features (I can’t share too much now, but more will be revealed in time).

Currently, only two pirates are listed on JPG, with the floor price at 500 ADA. While this number may come down, the secondary market price is ultimately in the hands of all holders. Know what you have! You’re holding digital gold! Of the 2,000 pirates, 1,960 are in the hands of the community, as our team only holds 20 pirates each. We want these pirates to belong to the Cardano community. That said, we keep a small crew to participate in everything moving forward because, at the end of the day, we’re collectors too.

To everyone who has minted, joined our Discord, followed us on X, replied to us, or reposted our content, we thank you. This is just the beginning, and we’re already off to a great start. We’re not here to dominate or overshadow other projects before us. We will coexist, support, and thrive alongside them. Cardano is our home, we believe in ADA for the long term, and pirates are forever!
