Today, FDA Oncology Center Director Richard Pazdur, MD, accepted the @AACR 2025 Enduring Impact Award for Transformative Service to Cancer Science and Medicine from his former mentee, AACR President Dr. Patricia LoRusso, during the #AACR25 Annual Meeting Opening Ceremony.
As someone who worked with and (more importantly) learned from Mary @nciccr_gmb @NCIResearchCtr I am so happy to see that she is still inspiring excellence in oncology patient care. 🙏🏽

2/2, our study showed olaparib + cediranib improved median rPFS by 4.5 months with over olaparib alone with an HR=0.62. But it was associated with increased toxicity. Consistent with other reports, BRCA2 seems to be the most reliable biomarker of benefit. Check out our manuscript
