@PatGarafolol@RoundsR No one’s saying it means she was telling the truth. But in your scenario (and in her case) the allegation was clearly not invented for political purposes.
@mtaibbi The texts (and the other guy she dated) don’t corroborate that the abuse occurred, but they do (especially the text) corroborate that she isn’t making it up now for political motivations, as alleged.
@StephenKing Maybe, but we DON'T know the whole truth, and this tweet seems to imply you don't really care if he DID do it. "Let him who's never raped anyone cast the first stone" is what you actually mean. Well, hopefully most of us haven't. You're better than this.
@DBashIdeas From a secular perspective, the Torah would be Bitcoin/crypto and God would be compared (lehavdil elef havdalos) to Satoshi. The impact of the works (in their respective arenas!) and the repeated and inevitably quixotic investigations of authorship have strong parallels.
@HilzFuld We all want the terrorists to be defeated, but posting a "fun" video of utterly destroyed neighborhoods soundtracked by Chanukah music? This isn't how Avraham Avinu would have reacted, that's for sure.
@Grimezsz This isn't a creature. It's fundamentally no different than a cardboard box with a great book inside it (or, for that matter, an empty cardboard box).
@_ZachFoster There's a lot of horrifying stuff here, but where is the evidence of an actual policy to intentionally kill innocent Gazans? Certainly these quotes about Amalek don't provide that, nor does military bluster from the days following 10/7, nor do racist statements from talking heads.
