@PitchingNinja Is Treinen’s sweeper better or McLean’s? I feel like Blake’s drops more where as Nolan’s sweeps more if that makes sense. McLean might be the nastiest pitcher of all time. All his pitches move so much I don’t know how he has command like he does. That’s what makes it incredible.
@acaseofthegolf1@jonathanwsabin It’s a great discussion and a valid observation. Guys are traveling more because of TGL. Akshay flew to Florida from Torrey then back to AZ for waste management in 2 days. That’s taking a toll on your body.
Biblically, a “pastor,” “elder,” and “bishop” are 3 words for the same thing.
In the New Testament, the terms “elder,” (πρεσβύτερος), “bishop,” and “overseer” (ἐπίσκοπος) are essentially interchangeable, referring to the same leadership role in the early church. “Elder” stems from the Jewish context and “bishop” from the Greek term, both essentially meaning an overseer. The slight nuance is that qualifications for an “elder” stipulate standards of character, emphasizing a wise, mature leader who is respected, while “overseer” and “pastor” describe the functional aspects of leading and shepherding. The word “pastor” originates from the Old French “pastour” meaning “herdsman or shepherd”, a derivative of virtually the same word in Latin.
The three-tiered ecclesiastical system that eventually separated bishops, elders, and pastoral roles only emerged in the 2nd century, specifically in the writings of Ignatius, who first distinguished the overseer as the sole head of the city-church. Earlier writings like 1 Clement and the Didache still used the terms interchangeably.
First of all, hope your recovery is going well and you’re back playing soon.
And I always appreciate our discussions. By pure numbers we are going to miss out on guys like Chris. We will never know because they won’t make it.
There is no guarantee Chris would have ever graduated from KFT had he not got his card. As you know some guys who have had great success on Tour don’t play as well on KFT. KFT isn’t always identifying the best Tour players.
And you really lose me when you talk about hard work. When you struggled were you not working hard? I assume you were. Almost all the guys grinding on mini-tours or on Tour are working their ass off. Some don’t have the talent to make it, some battle injuries, some didn’t play well at the right time….but at the end of day the number opportunities to make it are far less. Thats just a fact. You can’t argue can’t.
I can list the guys who changed their careers at Monday Qs and those that finished 21st and 30th on KFT, or got their pga tour card at Q school when 25 cards were available (one of those is an 8-time tour winner with the initials BH).
I do agree there will still be stories to cover but it’s far less.
@PitchingNinja I was asking because of Skenes changing his arm slot to try and alleviate some stress. This kid is so similar to Degrom and he has been so plagued with injuries. That was the first thing that came to my mind. Hopefully he stays healthy and we can see some history.
You need to go on @joerogan podcast! It would be such a joy to hear you have a conversation with him. You could reach a lot of people and show them how brilliant your ideas are.
And he doesn’t know what the F he’s doing either.
Mind you instead of focusing on the war he just uncorked, he spent his morning writing essays about me in his blog.

A post on Facebook can change your life forever .
It’s crazy to think everything started with this post I made in 2015. Even before this even happened I remember asking God to use me as his vessel. He didn't give me an answer the day that I asked him, not a month later , not even a year later. It happened a few years later and this would be that day. I'm still amazed at what all has happened since . Ask God to use you & he will . It might not happen right away, but trust me during that time your waiting he's just preparing you for what's about to happens
