A cold winter wonderland here in East Lothian and our first snow fall here at our new home - just have to make the most, very special just to sit out and listen to the fall of snow - so calming.
A jade vine in its native Philippine rainforest. In the wild the racemes can get so long they reach the ground and shower the forest floor with sea-blue blossom.
Was great to do a bit of good old bird watching this week down the river. Shoveller, teal and gadwall were nice additions along the river bank @MordenHallPkNT@MHPNatureGroup

Well, this is unexpected!!! Two healthy tawny owlets at #YewView box. After their eggs broke early in the year, Strix & Aluco must have managed to breed & raise a family elsewhere! How fabulous!
