Nothing like that new bus smell! Surprisingly smooth and quick, and with these twin deck beauties being powered be 100% wind energy, they bring “going like the wind” to a whole new level! 💨
Making use of this glorious weather with a trip to Harrogate, greeted by a gleaming fleet of new electric vehicles 🍃 with gen 4 of the luxury @harrogatebus 36 continuing it’s prestigious history of @creatingdesire over the past 22 years 🖤❤️
@LukesBusLife I can’t fathom why they’ve changed the “f” badge, if it wasn’t for the text saying FirstBus on the side you would know what it was anymore
@Bus_Pics_Manc@RoyalLord_ Refurbishment and repair shops will too (and still do) half of it will be down to laziness not getting them done, and the other will be not having the popper facilities/equipment to be able to do it safely. If any aren’t allowed it’d be company policy like stagecoach
@Bus_Pics_Manc@RoyalLord_ But they can paint the covers for the cab AC etc? Plus plenty of other bus companies that paint the roofs in house, even small independents. Keep in mind that streetlite was originally red and burgundy and not two tone orange like it was when Diamond purchased it.
@X_B7RLE_X Can really get behind the new corporate livery for First, that streetlite really suits it, especially compared to the old one. It was about time for a change!
@NicholasVitti2@blackburnbusco So you’ve not read the article properly, most of the congestion was caused by traffic around Deansgate, St Mary’s Gate, Princess St and John Dalton Street. All of which will be missed even when serving Charlton Street
@AndyRCowell @EdwardMason9000 They released a separate card machine which Harrogate used for a while but with ticketer having an all in one solution plus a QR scanner, it’s easy to see why people moved over when starting to accept card. They took the market that quickly it was pointless fighting against it
@AndyRCowell @EdwardMason9000 I think a big part of the issue was the card payments, with the contactless reader being on the lid, it made it liable for people to put skimmers underneath so no card processing companies would use it. (1/2)
@creatingdesire@creatingdesire not as bad as this sad sell out! They’ve done it every year for the past few now. At least coral island is a well know attraction on the promenade
Your ticket to success! 🚌
