🥩“Don’t Sell the Steak—Sell the Sizzle!”🔥
Author and sales trainer, Elmer Wheeler coined this phrase almost a century ago, encouraging marketers to lean on emotions over logic when promoting their products and services.
If I had to guess, this is probably where the advertising industry first co-opted the word “sizzle” or “sizzle reel” to describe a short, fast-paced, promotional video.
My latest sizzle reel encompasses some of my favorite AEC and technology clients, including a few of my favorite recent projects from branding—to brand films—to photography.
One of my favorite elements of a sizzle reel is the ability to incorporate different types of clients and projects into a single, mouth-watering piece.
