@TweetsbyTeex @monzo Thats my theory anyway as they shouldnt just keep customers funds for that amount of time esepcially when they dont have a branch for customers to go into and withdraw there funds. There losing out on profit at the moment and are in debt. So makes sense my theory. Im going to FCA
Well @monzo was all happy and well until they decide to close my account with no prior warning with funds in there and saying i have to wait up to 4 weeks for it to be sent to another bank. I need my money now not 4 weeks. FCA and the media will have a lovely story to listen to.
@TweetsbyTeex @monzo There doing it to keep hold of customers funds longer so they can use it finance other peoples accounts who apply for loans and the stakeholders in the company. They gain interest when they lend on customers funds and holding our funds for longer means more interest for them.
@SilencedAR02@monzo Yes today well infact an hour ago. I transfereed money to my savings then tried to transfer some back out and it wouldnt let me. Then got a notification saying i needto provide bank details for funds to be sent to within 4 weeks. Onto the FCA and media.
Leaving someone who uses monzo as their MAIN bank and not able to talk to someone on the phone to help immediately is just a joke. Giving me 2 months notice then closing my account down early with no prior warning and it was fine 2 hours ago. Monzo will wish they never started
I love @monzo! So glad I made the move from a traditional bank. Ps you make payday come early too. Thanks my tulips π₯° #switchtomonzo#byebyeboringbanks
@Ashcoynebwfc @CMG432 @gmpolice When you get to the station and blow on the second machine it actually goes up to 40. So if you blow under 40 at the station you are released without charge
