My grandma used to tell me, “I don’t want you starting any fights. But if you do get into one, you damned well better finish it.”
Madison Cawthorn started this fight on January 6. We’re going to finish it.
Join our campaign to defeat him in NC-13.
@the1maxman@PratherForNC What's it like being dumb?
Do you have practice at it, or does it come naturally?
Perhaps you need a public school sponsored civics class again.
The legislature funds projects through bills. The executive branch (the governor) does not.
I support a new bill to make health care more affordable and accessible for our mountain community. This change will help put money back into the pockets of nearly 85 thousand Western North Carolinians across my district, who have worked hard for their lifelong savings.
.@JoshRemillardNC embodies the values of servant leadership. He served in the Army for 8 years and immediately started getting involved in his community upon his return.
@voteoshea @PratherForNC@NCHouseDems@PlattForNC@rc4nchouse Our gorgeous mountains (Haywood County boasts the most mountain tops in the state). Sunburst Falls in Haywood and the Hot Springs of Hot Springs (rated best small in NC) in Madison County.
I am committed to fighting for working-class families.
Everyone deserves a fair shot at success, and I will continue to fight for policies that level the playing field.
Government should help people and continue to invest in programs that improve North Carolinians' lives.
What a perfect day it was out in Mars Hill at the Mountain Heritage Festival! A great showing of folks from all around our region and I really enjoyed talking with many of them. My girls really had a great time.
I did my first kickflip today since breaking my femur 7 months ago.
It was difficult.
It was painful.
It was sloppy.
It was [possibly] payback for me harassing strangers to do the same.
But it was gratifying beyond words.
Find your metaphorical kickflip and don’t quit on it.
While out canvassing in Marshall, I spoke with a woman concerned about transparency- and accountability from elected officials.
I was the only candidate ever to knock on her door.
In Raleigh, I will be a solid and persistent voice for Madison County!
I had the pleasure of meeting with The Share Project and Into Light to learn about Substance Use Disorder.
Both incredible organizations work to amplify opioid crisis awareness.
Learning the truth and discarding misinformation begins the healing process.
My grandmother taught me to respect teachers.
Educators shape our society, from our laborers, soldiers, to tomorrow's leaders.
Respect for educators is long past due.
Representing is not easy but is simple; find out what your community needs, then deliver, support your community.
What a pitiful attempt at relevance. You had your shot at representing, and you FAILED.
You're a footnote in American history—time to fade back into the woodline.
