1. Why does the Government of Alberta own a donair costume?
2. Wouldn’t it be great if you won the auction?

@takeETSalert Tagging @AmarjeetSohiYEG and @AndrewKnack for awareness. Let’s make sure no one else has to experience this painful process. Regular use of a bike rack on a bus under normal operating conditions shouldn’t wind up with this result.
@takeETSalert My bike slipped off the rack on the 180° turn yesterday and got run over. The price to fix this is a hit and the whole process is mentally crippling for me. I appreciate the help of the 311 operators and the transit inspectors with the claims process, but this really hurt.
Soooo this morning was interesting. Took the @CityofEdmonton funicular to get my bike up the hill on my way to work and as it approached the top, I noted two guys at the top waiting. They made eye contact at me, looked at my bike, and then one of them proceeded to show me…
To be clear, I’m happy to work in #yegdt 5 days a week (and “play” downtown as well). A handful of bad apples aren’t going to change my mind. At the same time, that was a bit rattling to experience. Glad I didn’t ruin anyone’s accessible commute up/down the hill though!
@HeySeto@cmcalgary 911 for crimes in progress. Always. The dispatcher can assess the available resources and either dispatch immediately or transfer you to non-emergency. If you get transferred and don’t want to wait, you can hang up and call at your convenience.
@YourAlberta Anyways, the registry staff indicated that this policy is BS and gave us a renewed ID after begging for one. Super secure progress. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
