I’ve never seen weather like we’ve been getting. It just keeps raining. Can’t replant. Can’t spray. Corn’s turning yellow. I always thought drought was worse but I’m not sure

@_TheMizzouTiger 8” in about 7 hours. Terraces washed over and blown out. Roads and bridges washed out. Flooding everywhere. Been farming 30 years don’t think I’ve ever seen it this bad. Trenton got is worse, baseball size hail and flooding. Just finished planting and replanting Wednesday 🤮

I’m for capitalism and free markets. But when it’s allowed to run wild with no controls you end up with consolidation. Monopolies. 5% or less have control and power over the other 95%. That’s called socialism and that’s what we have in row crop ag now.
