It wasn't beyond Lewis's control to accelerate less... to make the corners legally. He chose to go faster.

No reason to hate the stewards/FIA for that slam dunk penalty. There was no argument.

Lewis drove great in that soft stint and got unlucky for once, with those brakes. Take the penalty, rescue some points.

@peeker120 @GoldingsRenee @H7MILT0N Exactly my point! Given the scenario Lewis was in he maximised the points. He bossed that soft stint too, so it was super unlucky to have brake issues.

Cutting corners was correct along with the penalty. There is no argument against either!
