i figured i should post my response here as it might be of interest to others:

i think this cycle will be different from others in some way

so i won't try to preempt it but will mostly play it by ear

ofc when i get to certain levels in terms of profit on some of my bags I'll shave stuff

but i think many will sell too early this cycle and cope hard after

i mean people are talking about topping in Q1 when the US government could literally launch a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

the implication of this isn't just the U.S. Government bidding hard

it is gulf states and oil money following suit and launching their own Strategic Bitcion Reserves with an infinite twap of oil money into $BTC

and then Asian states following suit

and then normies seeing this insane level of legitimacy from their governments and piling in

IF we get this scenario there is no reality in which we top in Q1 IMO

but first we wait for it to happen... hence why i said I'll play it by ear

TLDR: set portfolio/individual asset targets for yourself and take profit when these targets are reached, but don't be too hasty in calling 'top' or expecting this cycle to play out like the others. things cold go a lot higher for a lot longer than many would expect
