@hcolombi_3 So grateful for Behren, and we will always remember him as our Big 12 champ QB1. But we also get to criticize someone who couldn’t read the Oregon defense, and even missed several check down open throws. Significant on the biggest stage.
@ScarletTortilla@CodyC64 Yeah, we’re all people though in the end. Again, I get the frustration from the game. We’re all Red Raiders, and there’s a lot to be grateful for.
@ScarletTortilla@CodyC64 So you’re badgering a guy that probably put 15-20 million into the roster? Realize this is our best season ever? Trust the alignment of our program. We learned what we need to compete. I like that we’re all in on Sorsby.
Proud of this Tech team. Not the outcome we wanted, but what a season. Will always remember how special this defense was on this team!
Would have loved for this game to be at home in Lubbock only 2 weeks after the big 12 championship.
A newsy wrinkle from Bevacqua: As part of an MOU signed last spring, Notre Dame is assured of a CFP berth if it is ranked in the top 12 starting next year.
If this year’s situation unfolds next year, the final at-large team (Miami) would have gotten bumped for No. 11 Notre Dame.
The best idea I’ve seen so far is the tortilla toss in pregame as the masked rider takes off / players run out. Keeps the tradition alive and avoids penalty.
Then we’ll still have our warning if anyone throws during the game and we can deal with them accordingly. @kirbyhocutt
@DougGoehry@GamblinGauchos What’s up Doug?!?! Haha that was a crazy night! I rushed the field and forgot my 12 yo brother was sitting next to me!
Hope you’re doing well also!!
@JustASportGuy My 11 yo son was kicked out for doing just that. He threw his tortilla up in the second quarter and was not close to field. Got kicked out with no warning.
@GamblinGauchos Thanks and I hope they do. I wrote an email requesting that this morning.
I saw hundreds of tortillas fly after halftime. My guess is police and security enforce rules differently around the stadium.
