@milky_selena Weird that there are so many anti-marriage takes. I got married at 21. At 27, had an awful season of life. My marriage was instrumental in coming out of that season as a better man, husband, and father.
@moveorperish Did you feel worse before it got better? I feel like I do some releases/stretches and it gets worse a few hours later. Best I can get is very temporarily relief.
@jakebrowne84 Uses fire inspection as a way to canvas banks. Has access to the specs of different banks and is able to determine strengths weaknesses. Best ingress/egress. Is familiar with PD response and protocols.
@robertgmason@hp_ems Yikes, I didnโt realize that was a thing. Is this for emergency calls?
We have community paramedics that treat patients in their homes with no intent to transport unless deemed necessary but that is different than our 911 response.
@robertgmason@hp_ems I definitely agree that our on scene time to arrival at hospital time should not suffer because a medic is messing around for an extended period of time without a very good reason.
@robertgmason@hp_ems Yeah, thatโs pretty wild and definitely unacceptable in most cases. Unless there is an extended extrication or maybe a diabetic you can manage on scene.
If our on scene time is greater than 15 minutes, the call is flagged and you need to justify your delay.
@hp_ems@robertgmason Yes, I was referring to ALS skills specifically. Of course BLS can treat patients en route to the hospital. I did not communicate that well.
@robertgmason@hp_ems I did find one related to diabetic emergencies. That is definitely an area that paramedics and/or advanced EMTs make an important impact prehospital.
