With all of the things that have happened recently, there is a part of me that longs to speak up and stand for my own rights.
Still, there is fear of setbacks, of my work being invalidated just because of who I am.
At the end of the day, I might be partially colorblind, literally and figuratively. But at least I can have my own color.
Like a ray of sun, it is entirely mine. Yet, I'll live it for the world to feel.
If you’re gay, you’re gay. If you’re straight, then you are. If you’re bi or you don’t know yet, that’s okay too. It’s a journey and you don’t have to figure out everything. What’s most important is your safety and happiness.
This #Pride I hope we all get to be who we truly are.
