@wesaud_audra The ERLC and all other entities in the SBC (the seminaries, NAMB, IMB) are funded by the Cooperative Program (CP)

Each SBC church designates their tithes how the congregation decides as they're an autonomous ecclesia.

Average church giving to the CP is 3% or less I believe.

@drantbradley I'd think a combination of the following:

- membership role clean up
- a focus on baptism, & not discipleship
- decreasing birth rate w/in SBC
- the ex-vangelicals. With the abuse, cover up, & alignment w/ certain politicians many are struggling to reconcile participation in SBC
